Medical and Dental Pay Uplift 2024/2025

A pay uplift for the following medical and dental staff has been published, applicable to the following groups:
- Hospital Medical and Dental Staff
- Doctors and Dentists in Public Health Medicine and the Community Health Service
- Public Dental Service Staff
- Dental Training Grades
- Associate Advisers/Assistant Directors
- Directors of Postgraduate General and Dental Practice Education (Crump)
- Gp Specialty Registrars in General Practice
Details are contained in circular PCS(DD)2024/01, also attached, and provides details of the following:
- New National salary scales and post specific salaries
- Minima and Maxima of the Salaried GPs pay range
- Fees and allowances
The pay uplift will be effective from 1 April 2024. The award will be applied in December pay, with pay arrears estimated to be paid to current staff in January 25.
Anyone who has left the organisation since 1st April 2024 is expected to receive their arrears in March 2025.
