HELP, NES’s new employee assistance programme (EAP)

25 November 2021

From 1 December 2021 NES will go live with HELP, a new employee assistance programme (EAP).

HELP provides confidential, independent and unbiased information and guidance from a team of trained wellbeing and counselling practitioners to all NES employees. This replaces the current service delivered by AXA (ICAS).

The new number to call is 0800 032 9849.

The EAP can help you in several ways.  If you are experiencing issues at home or at work, a team of expert practitioners are a phone call away, day or night, 365 days a year.

Support can be provided on the phone, on-line or via face-to-face counselling as applicable. Employees can trust that the information disclosed is totally confidential. The EAP is bound by a professional code of ethics (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association).

With HELP all NES employees will have access to:

  • e-resources
  • The Optimise Wellbeing app, offering assessments and personalised wellbeing content and resources

Please continue to contact ICAS until 1 December.

For further information please refer to the EAP E-Leaflet and Poster.

And contact NES HR by raising a ticket at https://nesdigital.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/30 if you have any questions.
