ICAS is a free and confidential service, ICAS is available to you and your immediate family members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ICAS will provide counselling over the phone or in person, depending on the needs of the individual.  We encourage all employees to utilise this service for support, to help relieve pressures and/or to assist with personal problems.

In addition to the 24-hour freephone number you can also access a huge range of information on a variety of work-related or domestic topics online.

ICAS also offers a provision for line manager's to refer staff for confidential counselling, should the need arise. The appropriate forms and relevant information sheets are available via these links:

ICAS also offers a valuable benefit called LifeManagement. This service provides additional information to help staff deal with everyday problems that may arise, such as:

  • "My MOT has run out and I have had a car accident.  What is going to happen?"
  • "I am a single parent.  Can you help me sort out my benefits?"
  • "Can you give me a list of schools in my area?"
  • "A toy my child has received as a present has broken and I don't have a receipt. What option do I have?"

ICAS is available to help you prevent problems building up by dealing with them earlier and more effectively.
